2023-24 NBA Coach of the Year Picks & Predictions
It's far too early to begin wagering on this market, but the NBA has seen a big turnover in coaching the last few years. A few familiar names are in new locations such as Nick Nurse and Monty Williams, both with solid odds to bet on turning their teams around. It will be harder for coaches like Mike Brown and Tom Thibodeau to win again, as expectations change once you bring a team from the bottom to relevancy. Ime Udoka is the best long shot to consider but again, it's too early for any wagers in this market right now.
NBA Coach of the Year Winner History
Mike Brown won his second Coach of the Year Award, the last coach to win in both the Eastern and Western Conference since Hubie Brown in 2003. A two-time winner has won three of the last five awards actually, while six of the last seven winners have ironically been fired by the team they won it with.
